We just sent this newsflash out (on Monday) and many people got it on

their junk mail box.

Do you know why it happens? Did some wording trigger it?

Thanks for your advice!

Best regards,
Helena

Hi Helena,

Here is a message that outlines factors that may contribute to this:

online sales

Submitted Sep 22, 2009 in Solutions

We have our  online store with ClickSpace and we are finding there are way way more

orders “ Awaiting Checkout” than processed orders. Would you know of
the reasons why this would be?
I would understand a few of these but there seems to be a whole lot
every day which leaves me wondering why that is happening. Any light
you can shed on the matter would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Renee P

Hi Renee,

The awaiting Checkout procedure works as follows (from a site visitor perspective):

I visit your site. I then add something to my cart. This installs a cookie on my computer - in which that product gets stored in my cart for one year. This functions this way so that a person can add items to their shopping cart and return at a later date to purchase. It essentially remembers what they did in the past.

These activities then get stored in your account as 'Awaiting Checkout' orders.

Let me know if that does not make sense.

Sincerely,

Separate first and last names from one column in excel

Submitted Jun 02, 2009 in Solutions

How to I get the first name and last divided into two
columns when they are just in one.

Vince

Hi Vince,

To separate the first and last names into two columns in Excel, do the following:

Add a blank column to the right of your name column. It is safe to add a couple blank columns, in case you have full names that are more than two words, such as Christina Marie Ryan. You can delete any empty columns afterward.

Than, select the column containing the full name.
Go to Data -> Text to columns.
Choose Delimited, then hit next.
Then choose the delimiter which separates your content. In this case, it would be a space. Hit Next.
Choose Finish and your last names will be moved to the empty cells to the right.

Sincerely,
